I started writing about legal issues while working as a small-town journalist in North Carolina, and later covered two U.S. Supreme Court cases as an environmental journalist in Washington, DC. I then edited a quarterly law digest for an environmental lobbying organization while serving as the firm’s communications manager. In recent years, I helped develop websites for three law firms and produced blogs and other web content for attorneys in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Tallahassee, Toronto, Rhode Island, Mississippi and Maine.
I crafted most of the content for Habib Al Mulla and Partners’ website in 2022. While the website has since been revised, most of my work still appears on it.
I’ve been providing a Toronto law firm with four blogs per month since 2020, and a Florida firm with monthly blogs since 2022. The greatest compliment I’ve received from any of my legal clients was a comment noting that they were shocked to learn I wasn’t a lawyer.
